Adventures in knitting: Knit your own digestive tract.
I know there's some fairly hardcore knitting going on out there - I've seen it. Not long ago a good friend of mine was the priest at a knitted wedding (sporting his very own knitted dog-collar) where the happy couple, both members of extreme knitting fraternity Cast Off, quite literally tied the knot...
But this little number is one of the weirdest knitted, um, items I've seen yet: a woolen digestive tract. If you've got the guts, visit Strange But True, which has some gruesome close-ups as well as a rudimentary pattern, so you can knit your own. And after a particularly rough night out, I can well imagine that a spare digestive tract could come in handy...
And while we're on the topic of unconventional knitted items, I want to know what the strangest thing you have ever seen made out of wool. And have you attempted it?

I'll see your knitted digested track, and raise you one crocheted vulva. www.crochetmycrotch.com (Yes, this is my site...yes, it's horribly outdated and I'm shutting down the store soon. But I'll keep the pics up for everyone to ogle.)
