Cut Out + Keep: A DIY website about DIY

Cat Morley likes to try new things. All sorts of things, from cooking to photography. The 21-year-old offers zines, podcasts, and her website up as inspiration for other people to try new things, too.

Cut Out + Keep is her latest project. It's a repository of (at this point) over 200 craft projects. The skill levels required run the gamut so there really is something for everyone.

I'm definitely going to make a few of my own comic book cushions. I love graphic novels and these cushions are a perfect way to display some of my favorite art. The sewing instructions given are clear and helpful. The accompanying pictures are especially helpful. Now someone sewing in a zipper for the first time can actually SEE what it's supposed to look like.

As long as I have my sewing machine out, I'm going to make a few of these picture cuffs as well. Custom accessories are definitely a big deal right now. Now to start collecting pictures for my collages!
