These fantastic pixel 'gems' from Mike and Maaike would make any geek girl sparkle with virtual glamour.
The 'stolen jewels' range may look just like it was plucked from Super Mario, but their origin is, in fact, the internet. Mike and Maaike's design team trawled google images for low-res pictures of expensive and famous jewels which they 'stole', digitally doctored and transfered the resulting images on to leather, to create the jewels. An idea that might be well worth stealing in itself, with the aid of some craft glue and a printer....
