One area of mixed media crafting that I've only touched the surface of but really want to get into more deeply is journalling/scrap booking and working with ephemera. I recently found these really great packs called 'Pile Of Paper' at the One Good Bumblebee webstore.
The pile of paper comes with loads of scrapping bits, including vintage items. Along with the pile of paper, the website also sells a Jar of Whimsies, which is a collection of 3D objects along the same thread as the paper.
There are several other websites offering similar packages as the Pile Of Paper, but this is definitely the most interesting I've found!
