It is the Etsy Trashion Street Team, a group dedicated to creating beautiful things out of what would otherwise be considered trash.

Trashion is about discovering the potential in found objects, thrifted finds and discarded items, and giving them new life as something completely revamped and reinvented, be it art, jewelry, or fashion. The Etsy Trashioners are enthusiastic, imaginative and expressive bunch of crafters and artists, embracing the shared interest of doing their part to heal the environment, and the creative process of making something new and useful from the unconventional and unusual.

Etsy Trashion also has a Yahoo group which can be found here that has some lively and fun discussions, and there is also a MySpace group devoted to trashion called TrashionNation .

Etsy Trashion will be having a Trashion Team Trunk Show on July 27 at EtsyLabs in Brooklyn, NY. The event is designed to raise awareness of the trashion revolution and bring exposure to the group. All are invited to attend.
