As a committed veggie I already know where I stand on this 'yay or nay' question, but what's intriguing me more is why anyone, carnivorous or otherwise, would come up with this idea in the first place. Maybe they had a pet dog that didn't love them enough? Or were they perhaps on a suicide mission and about to take a walk in a bear-infested forest? Maybe they just enjoy the company of flies...
I suspect I'll never know, but not only is there a pair of "meat shorts" up on the Make website, there's instructions on making your own, too. The makers describe their creation as "simple, stylish and pungent", but at least one of those words looks very out of place. Quite revolting.
