Full of Fluff is one of those craft blogs that is infrequently updated, but that has fabulous content. Carey Huffman (a.k.a. Cerya, according to the blog subtitle) makes very appealing crocheted toys that are both quirky and sophisticated.
It's always interesting to hear about artists' processes and learn about the elements involved in their crafts. Huffman apparently first envisions and then draws these toys before taking out hook and yarn. Green Guy, shown above, has toes made of safety eyes (great idea!), for example, while Kitsune, the beautiful fox, has its limbs attached with special doll joints.
I sincerely hope the very talented Carey Huffman will be posting more crocheted creatures some time soon.
