Geek Craft: Lego jewellery and accessories
I have to admit Lego is one of my favourite childhood toys and I still get a kick out of building things with the little plastic blocks even now. I never thought of using the pieces to make jewellery and other accessories, but it seems some of the crafty folk over at Etsy have. These earrings by thelovelyteaspoon have been made using Lego windows, complete with opening parts. They are great fun and will certainly get you noticed out on the town, and so easy to make yourself. They led me onto even more Lego goodies like this Lego head bracelet by Niphty, fashioned from the tiny heads of Lego people and this Lego horse necklace by Gr0glmann. It seems that even if you have outgrown playing with it, Lego can still bring a smile to a big kid's face.
