Mary Robinette Kowal, a Steampunk fan, wanted her laptop to resemble "a blending of an early Royal, a Remington and a Ox-blood red Smith-Corona" so she got her heavy duty stickers and felt pens out and got to work...the cool, vintage beauty pictured above was what she came up with. She's currently sourcing a wood veneer for an ebony-effect spacebar to complete the look, but you've got to admit, it's a fantastic transformation.
