Get Crafty is another gathering place for crafters on the web. There are forums and tutorials and blogs and stories. There is also a really awesome article that was recently posted. Written by Kayte Terry, Inspiration Every Day talks about being prepared for inspiration and how to find and encourage it.
Kayte discusses several important point but her last paragraph really touches on something that is important to me. That is, sometimes it is okay to not have any ideas, to not be productive. Sometimes we really DO just want to sit on the sofa and read a book or watch tv or play video games and it's important to give ourselves permission to do that without feeling guilty.
As Kayte says, "Think of it as recharging for the next great idea!"
