Incase you were under the impression that all Mums nap while their children are sleeping, let me just set the record straight...we don't! As soon as their tiny heads hit the pillow we're like Tasmanian Devils whirling around the house doing all the jobs we couldn't do with the kids nipping at our heels. I love the idea that some women use their time more productively, and actually create beautiful art during this precious time, like Abby Glassenberg.
Her blog cleverly titled 'While She Naps' is a showcase for her stunning work, which combines elegant softies, collage and sculpture. Much of her work features birds made from beautiful fabrics, set inside boxes which are filled with clever collages. Much better than using the time to clean the toilet, I'm sure you'll agree!
