I've always been a bit of a font fanatic, so I've been having a great deal of fun playing with this online tool that generates random lettering. What's clever about this one is that it picks up lettering at random from Flickr, where many arty types have photographed examples of cool typefaces.
All you need to do is go here and type in the text you want. If you're not happy with the text generated, you simply click on the offending letter until a better one comes up, and hey presto, you have funky random lettering to post on your site.
