If you live in Central Scotland, have kids who are crazy about crafts and are bored this summer why not send them along to the Imagination Workshop? These are a new breed of workshops that allow your child to use their imagination to take part in crafty pursuits such as jewellery making, designing cards, silk painting and much more. The Imagination Workshop is offering Summer Holiday Craft Weeks aimed at kid's on school holidays. They run from Monday to Friday between 10.30 and 12.30.
You can also drop in anytime, buy an object to decorate (e.g. a plain jewellery box for around £3) and then pay £5 to cover all the materials (e.g. mosaic tiles, paints, beads etc). It's a great way to get the kids into crafts, and the fun can continue at home with them teaching you their techniques! The Imagination Workshop is based in Marchmont, Edinburgh and they hope to open other branches around the UK soon.
