Skulls are, clearly, very popular these days. Between pirate imagery and goth style, skull-and-crossbones motifs show up in nearly every craft medium. Skull-A-Day fits right in with that trend, but takes it to a new level. Noah Scalin, founder of the design firm Another Limited Rebellion, presents a new skull image on this blog every day, and intends to do so for a full year. Many of the skulls are his own creations or discoveries, while others are suggested or sent by readers. Examples include skulls shaped from bark, sugar, tea leaves, crumpled paper, or Styrofoam peanuts. Pictured above is a skull fashioned from bent wire, and another in the form of a soft toy. View the site for new and innovative skull pictures every day -- and, if you're so inclined, participate by writing in with your suggestions.
