Tongue-in-cheek badges you can earn include the “Proselytize Knitting” badge, the "Inordinately Fond of Novelty Yarn" badge, and the “I Will Crush You With My Math Prowess” badge. Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the “MacGyver” badge involve such accomplishments as using non-knitting tools for a knitting project or using knitting tools in non-knitting scenarios; for example, use "a Clover yarn cutter, a 30” Addi Turbo circular needle, and a copy of Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Knitting Without Tears to foster world peace."
