How would you like your knitting skills to go towards helping the homeless? Cosmetics company Origins has come up with a cute idea that will do just that, as every bottle of beauty-goo they sell with a tiny scarf around the bottle (that's where you come in) will raise £1 for Shelter.
The scarves will go on the shelves in time for Christmas, but Origins is calling on the public now to get their needles out and knit a mini, woolly scarf for the charitable Ginger Knits campaign. Anyone keen to get involved should select some festive coloured wool, personalise it with glitter, tassels or patterns and send it to Origins Ginger Knits, 73 Grosvenor Street, London, W1K 3BQ, by November 20.
