More Star Wars amigurumi
Just the other day, I posted about Angry Angel's Yoda and Leia figures. Now here's more Star Wars amigurumi, this time from doozy38. She made this Luke Skywalker doll by basing the figure on eureekaswindow's Sweetheart Doll pattern, and then improvising the rest. She says the light sabre was difficult to fashion at first, but eventually worked when she sewed a crocheted strip over a toothpick to help it hold its shape.
It's a great idea to make a variation on an existing pattern, especially if you're trying to represent a particular character. I think doozy38 did an excellent job with this doll: the details of costume, hair and facial expression give it its charm.
