Halloween Craft: Make a crochet skull
Craftster Fruitysalad recently crocheted this cool skull. They made it as a prop for a sibling who is studying Hamlet at school, but the same project would be very suitable for those preparing for Hallowe'en. The skull is hollow; to make it stand on its own, there's a stuffed cylinder of feather wool that can be inserted into the skull.
Fruitysalad made up the pattern, and you'll be pleased to hear that they are in the process of simplifying it in preparation for sharing it. Watch this Craftster post for updates! In the meantime, Lion Brand yarn offers a felted crocheted skull pattern that you can try.

That's awesome!
