OK, I admit I had to get this one in at least partly due to the name! But Crafty Bastards are a talented bunch it seems, and this Sunday Sep 30th, they're holding their 4th annual arts and crafts fair in in the hip Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC.
So what should you expect to find at a fair like this? The organisers have assured us that You won't find knitted teapot cozies, floral wreaths, carved wood ducks or batik jackets at this event. You will find unique, unconventional handmade items such as dead Elvis statues, gumball machine ninja necklaces, restructured vintage clothing, screenprinted tees and handbags, punk rock baby clothes, duct tape wallets, tampon dolls and burnt toast plush toys, zines, sculpture, collage, photography, and much much more!
