Fall Knitty is available now!

Wow, check out that beautiful lacework! It's the featured project in the brand new issue of Knitty.com that just went live.
First of all, I am immediately and madly in love with Cherie Amour. The open work on the arms! The fit through the midriff! Oh, I swoon.
The simple herringbone of Henry isn't as exciting at first, but it promises to be a rewarding knit, especially as the days begin to cool off.
The Back to Basics socks look like a fun and quick project, especially for people who need to get started on gifts. Everyone loves receiving hand-knit socks, yes?

I didn't get to write about the new Knitty at DIY Life -- one of the other writers got to it before I did, and that was within about 30 minutes of the "new issue" email -- but I agree, Cherie Amour is my fave pattern of the new bunch. I'm hoping that it will look decent on me if I make it (I'm very busty, so sometimes plunging necklines don't look right on me).
Not at all in love with that scarf/glove combo, and the sweater designed solely for using handknit yarn is, I think, kind of an ill-fitting mess. (If it doesn't even fit the designer flatteringly, what's it going to look like on anyone else?) But most of the rest of the issue looks pretty decent.
The masthead said there was material by Veronik Avery somewhere in the issue, but I couldn't find it in the actual patterns or articles. Could anyone else?
