Geek craft: Gir cross-stitch
Alexander Shen, known as wanderingpanda, created this cross-stitch piece depicting Gir, the lovable robot from Invader Zim. Because he didn't have a pattern to work from, he made his own by taking an online picture and adapting it into a pixel art piece which in turn functioned as the pattern.
What a fantastic idea, to use a pixellated picture to create a cross-stitch pattern! Alex used PhotoShop to add grid lines to the photo. If you'd like to make your own Gir cross-stitch piece, perhaps to adorn gifts for the robot-loving geeks in your life, you'll be glad to hear that the pattern is posted for your use.

haha amazingly cute!
