Join the Fabulous UK SnB Blanket

Calling all knitting groups from Land’s End to the Orkney Islands! Stitch and Bitch London need your help. Britain’s biggest knitting group is looking to show the world just how many knitting groups are out there in the UK, by putting together the UK SnB Blanket.

Groups all over the country are being invited to knit squares representing their area and knitting group and send them in to S&B London by the 30th of October. The finished blanket will be displayed in all its knitty glory at UK SnB Day, and the S&B London Stitchettes don’t want any knitting group out there to miss out on taking part.

You can contact them via email at stitchandb.london@googlemail.com for more details, and an address to send your squares to, or go to their blog to find out more.

Stitchette Joelle ‘Knitting Ninja’ Finck says “We are always impressed by how many of our fellow knitters are getting together for the love of the knit out there, and we wanted to help create something for UK SnB Day to show just how many there are.”

Offers have been flooding in from Penzance to Perth, but the girls are hungry for more groups to flex their fibres for the project. If you and your knitting group want to get involved then get in contact with S&B London and join the masses showing what a UK knitting army can do when they put their sticks and string to it.
