This great little idea from Practical Polly definitely wins the prize for quick craft idea of the day! And despite taking up no more than a minute or two of your time, it'll give maximum effect to any outfit.
Most crafters I know have a button collection, with buttons of all shapes, sizes and colours they couldn't resist in that thrift store, but will probably never use. Polly's simple observation is that sewing a pin on to the back of a button makes a brooch.
