Trend Watch: Sea creatures
They're everywhere: knitted and crocheted of sea creatures are appearing on every blog and craft site, it seems. Fish, octopus, crabs, lobsters, jellyfish and just about every other water dwelling being you can think of ... these obviously appeal to crafty folks as subjects. Here are a few of the many I've noticed recently, clockwise from top left: Beth Skwarecki's Nautie over on Knitty; failed_fae's fish (from Zoe Mellor's Knitted Toys); river2sea72's bony fish (from Elisabeth Doherty's Super Happy Crochet Cute), and twiddlefingers' hermit crab with removable shell.
