We've featured several posts on fabric covered buttons, but what about some little fabric thumbtacks? This tutorial by How About Orange shows you how, using 'wedding gown style' buttons, some fabric and ordinary thumb tacks. It's a fiddly little job, but if you have the time (and patience) the end result is pretty darn cute. These would be great for hanging postcards and pictures on your inspiration tack board, a refreshing change from plain old metal.
