Halloween Craft: Creepy crawly wreaths

wreath%20eyeballs.jpg wreath%20orange.jpg

Amy, a.k.a. Crafty Dame, made these fabulous Hallowe'en wreaths. The eyeball wreath was made from a spray painted wreath from a craft shop, wrapped with a garland made of eyeballs and other beads, and decorated with gummy bats and spiders. What a wonderfully creepy effect! The orange wreath is festooned with mardi gras beads, plastic pumpkin ornaments, spiders and ribbon. See Amy's site, Glitter, Vinyl and Thread to view another wreath all in blacks and purples that features fanged teeth, spiders and bats. Very scary!

Amy tells us that making the wreaths was a lot of fun, and pretty inexpensive. What a fantastic idea for the upcoming spooky holiday!

That is SUCH a good idea - I love it! Never seen anything like that before, but it seems kind of obvious now :) might even have to make one for Shiny Towers...
