Cabled gauntlet free pattern

If Paris Hilton were writing this post she would say gauntlets are hot, cabling is hot and for once she'd be right. Crystal Palace Yarns have got a free pattern for the gorgeous gauntlets, using merino wool and bamboo needles. I would knit them in stiff cream yarn for a fisherman style gauntlet but their self-striped sample pictured left is pretty hot too. If you're into this season's gothic/fetish styles knit them using black wool and wear them over a pair of leather gloves for a cosy but witchy look.
