Recycled Christmas craft creations

Here in the UK, we've just sent each other 100 million Christmas cards. A generous bunch, aren't we? But all that paper will have affected an awful lot of trees.

To make sure that paper is recycled, there's currently a major recycling programme encouraging people to deposit their cards in special boxes in high street stores. But don't forget there are creative ways to re-use what are often beautiful pieces of stationery, too. And this is what a Flawed Flock have decided to do with theirs. These fun 'up-cycled' coasters are part of their recycled card collection, and are available on Etsy for $12 a pack. So why not take a leaf from this book and make your own Christmas card creations? Or at least pack them away for craft sessions later in the year...
