Did you know this week is Wooly Hat Week? Here in the UK, the Sailor's Society is asking us all to consider the plight of the nation's seafarers, who are having a bit of a rough time of it at the moment in the foul weather. And to do this, you'll need your needles at the ready...
The Woolly Hat Campaign provides seafarers arriving in the UK, often ill-prepared for our weather, with hand-knitted hats to keep themselves warm during the many months they are at sea. If you'd like to show solidarity with the seafarers, the society has provided a wooly hat pattern here. Go on - it could really make someone's day!
