Knit a leprechaun for St Patrick's Day

It's a double-whammy of festivities this month, with St Patrick's day taking place just a week before easter. Next Monday, in fact, which is just enough time for you to make your own friendly leprechaun.

Rufus the leprechaun (pictured) will join you in whatever celebrations you decide to participate in on Paddy's Day, and may even lead you to a pot of gold. If you don't think you've quite got time to whip up anything quite so complex by next monday, even with the luck of the Irish, you could always get your crochet hook around a few of these simple crocheted shamrocks.
