Spring cleaning: make your own dusters

March is here, and while the weather might not be behaving quite as it should, it's the natural time for humans to whip out their cleaning equipment.

Buying disposable duster and mop pads can get expensive, and not to mention damaging to the environment, so why not make your own set this year? After the jump is a great little tutorial from Flickr member Merwing for making your own 'swiffer' style dusters out of fleece. They're dead easy to make, and if you make a batch now you won't need to go and spend hard-earned cash on those pesky refills.
