Doctor Who's 'Adipose' a monster hit on Ebay

dr who adipose.JPGThe latest Doctor Who monsters won't have anyone hiding behind the sofa...this week's episode, the first in a new series featured the very cute 'adipose' critters, which were just crying out to be knitted and sold to an eager audience online, which is exactly what one savvy crafter has done.

Surely the most lovable sci-fi baddies since Star Trek's Tribbles, the adipose toys are handknitted with a cardboard insert to help them stand. They are stuffed with child-safe stuffing, but has goggly eyes so is unsuitable for under-3s (mind you, so is Doctor Who). Current bid £4.99 on Ebay

Thank goodness for BitTorrent or else I could've have seen the first episode in the States. LOVED that cute little thing. They even got the little tooth in there!
