How to make your own shoes

make your own shoes.jpg
I want to go straight home via the craft shop and start making some shoes! Mary Wales Loomis shows us how to make shoes in any height and from a variety of fabrics.
From making a last to attaching a heel and gluing a real leather sole it's all in her book 'Make Your Own Shoes'. I'm already mentally going through all the fabric and leather offcuts in my sewing room to see what I could use as shoe material.

how do i make my own shoes?

i have like many slip ons that are damaged, but the bottoms are okay. Its just the top.

So i'm thinking, i have fabric at home that i can repair the top with..

but my question is, if i take everything apart, how shall I put everything together?

simply by cutting fabric, measuring the fabric, and sewing?

please let me know. Thank you, I await your response!
