Soft sweater storage box for your stuff
This basket project is a great way to recycle an old sweater while creating a lovely storage space for your knitting.
The example here is a 10-inch-tall knitting basket, which was made from a snowy Aran sweater. Its sides came from the body of the sweater; its base was cut from the sleeves. These instructions tell you all you need to know about transforming your old sweater into a soft yet robust basket. As well as making an ideal hold-all for knitting, the basket would also be great for tidying up toys or other bits of soft stuff around the house.
