How to make a vintage-style cork lamp
A cork lamp has many benefits: not least, the ability to double-up as a bedside pinboard for all your favourite clippings. Genuine vintage cork lamps are difficult to source, but it's easy to get your hands on a lump of cork. So why not make your own?
Design Sponge posted this fantastic tutorial on how to create a cork lamp, using simple bits and bobs you can find at your local hardware store. While I'm usually scared off by DIY projects involving drills this one looks so simple and effective I may just have to give it a try!
