How to make a knitted party bunting

Buntings transform even the gloomiest surroundings into an instant party zone, so it never does any harm to have a set lying around -- you never know when you might need them!

A fun variant on the standard cloth sort are knitted buntings, and I spotted this lovely set over on Craft. Knitter Stimpetta made them, and is planning on adding lettering soon; if you'd like to have a go there's a pattern here, which includes advice on how to add the letters.
