There seems to be a real spate of geek-related food craft at the moment, and sure enough, I've just heard tell of a new blog to catalogue the phenomenon: Geek Cake! The blog's owner is still looking for submissions at the moment, so if you've made a Mario madeira or Tetris tart recently, do send them her way.
In the meantime, check out this shining example of nerd-cuisine: a chocolate coated dalek that I could certainly 'exterminate' within seconds! It's the work of Flickr member Tiny Tear, who tracked down the instructions from a 1960s episode of Blue Peter -- now that's why I call doing your research!
