Appliqué is one of those crafts that tends to get overlooked by its more mainstream cousins, but it's also a very effective, and often satisfyingly simple craft to perfect. You can appliqué anything from paper to clothes and accessories, making them so much more personal and fun -- and it doesn't get much more personal than spelling out your own name.
