I like this pattern mainly because it provides a good use for all the odd socks we accumulate in a lifetime, but also because I never seem to have anything to hand when it comes to taking hot things out of the oven.
Follow the jump for a cool pattern that will solve all these ills and possibly more!

Step 1
Go to your local craft store and purchase a plastic loom and colorful loops.
Step 2
Choose whichever colors you want to work with. The sky is the limit as far as picking the colors. Make your potholders as colorful as you choose.
Step3
Warp your loom by stretching the loops over the pegs from the top to the bottom.
Step 4
Cover the entire loom vertically repeating Step 3.
Step 5
Using a small weaving hook, attach a loop to the far side of the horizontal side of the loom.
Step 6
Pull the hook over the first loop and under the next until you reach the opposite side.
Step 7
Continue making the potholder by again attaching the weaving hook to the far side but this time pass the hook over and under the opposite loops from Step 6.
Step 8
Repeat Steps 5 to 7 until you have covered all the pegs on the horizontal side.
