You can read a bit about the serious reasons behind World Toilet Day here, and it's a cause I happen to support wholeheartedly: our loos deserve respect, after all. But what I didn't realise was that the crafting community were celebrating our porcelein friends in all kinds of imaginative ways, and far from neglecting them, is showing appreciation for our toilets with all manner of lavatorial crafts.
