As anyone who's ever worked from a pattern knows, it's unusual to follow instructions to the letter. For most of us, this happens by accident, but in the case of this cute sweater pictured above left by Karissa of Karissa's Cove, the alterations were quite deliberate. She customised the pattern she'd found in Glamour Knits (right) to incorporate a heart pattern she found in Vogue Stitchionary-#1 Knit and Purl. A great example of how blending patterns can give really awesome results.
