Keep safe from the cold in a knitted gas mask

There's been a lot of talk of 'spirit of the Blitz' since London froze over and we all went temporarily loopy (as in we're not embracing it with our utter lack of competence in the face of a bit of snow) so I thought I'd bring a bit of wartime resilience straight to your screens with this knitted WW2 gas mask.

It wouldn't keep you safe from a chemical attack, but doesn't it look warm? I can see it working wonders for those Londoners who were too wussy to get out of the house and make the trek into work this morning. Bitter, moi? ;)
