Friday cocktail: the grasshopper
Leap into the weekend with this gorgeously green drink in your hand. It's called the Grasshopper, due to its unmistakable hue, which comes from its generous creme-de-menthe content. If you've got a sweet tooth, you'll go crazy for this minty treat, which (my dairy intolerent friends tell me) tastes just as yummy with soya instead of dairy milk. Enjoy!
♥ 1 ounce green cream de menthe
♥ 1 ounce white cream de cacoa
♥ 1 ounce light cream or milk
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, strain into martini glass.
