I ♥ this Mario-themed coffee table SO much I just had to share it in Geek Craft today! My absolute best bit is the Piranha Plant legs visible here, which appear to have been painted on. But seen from above, the table top also has a Mario mosaaic that's made entirely from multi-coloured push pins and protected by plexiglass. [Via Sprite Stitch]
The table is yet another project that started off on the scrapheap, as its maker Ivan found the table discarded in the street. So if you see any old furniture lying around, make sure you show it some love!

Just thinking about inserting all of those pins is making my eyes water, but you've got to admit it would be worth the effort.
