I've been cursing my workspace today because first thing this morning, I crashed into my desk and broke my computer :(. It's all down to lack of space, I told myself, and after several hours of self pity and trying to figure out how my standby one worked, I took the more positive step of looking into how others have managed to use space more creatively.
Crafters are a great inspiration when it comes to making space, because their work area is so sacred to them. I'm hugely jealous of some of them - the lucky few with a walk-in garden shed or their own workshop - but several just have a real knack of using the available space wisely. The best example I've seen today was June at Noon, who's made this neat little hideaway out of an ordinary closet in her room. Impressive huh? I love the way everything worthy of being on display is in the foreground, while more utilitarian objects are hidden neatly behind the curtain. You can see some more views here.
What's your crafting or working space looking like today?
