Hardware items are hugely fashionable in accessory design right now, which is good news for crafters, who know better than anywhere else where to get these items for next to nothing!
I spotted a great idea for a bracelet over on Oh So Crafty which would be at once easy peasy to make and oh so trendy to wear. Perfection! They're made from brass clasps that are used in fishing lines, making them way cooler and more interesting than all the other pieces of jewellery out there made from the more mundane zippers and safety pins. To decorate, you can use whatever beads and other embellishments you want.
