Hello Crafty Crafty followers. *waves*
I thought I would introduce myself before I start firing handmade missiles of crafty wonders your way.
My name is Lauren 'Deadly Knitshade' O'Farrell. I'm a writer, a crafter, a sneaky stitcher and am constantly surrounded by cats, who tend to get in the way of all the aforementioned pursuits.
I founded and run (with four other Stitchettes) Stitch and Bitch London, the woolly radioactive Godzilla of a knitting group which is currently the biggest in the UK. I have also written for various knitting magazines on and offline, and back in the day wrote for this very site before taking my sticks and string off round the world for a while as Purl Interrupted.
It is also rumoured that I founded Knit the City, London's yarnstorming collective, and have been known to wrap unexpected bits of London is woolly wonder. I couldn't possibly comment.
I'm thrilled to be back as part of the Crafty Crafty team and hope to be able to ruthlessly hunt down many an elusive beast of craft so you can have a good look at it before it's released back into the wild.
This is going to be fun.
