Make a zipper corsage for your bag or bod!

Zip corsages are a brilliantly easy way to 'toughen up' an outfit or accessory, because they're referencing both a hardware item and a natural form - totally in line with this season's trends. You can buy one in Accessorize for £8 at the moment which is pretty reasonable but even better, you can make your own for the price of a zipper unit from your local haberdashery.

The Shopaholic Beader has come up with a tutorial here, which shows you how to make the fabulous bag decoration pictured above. This one was made using a liberated zip from an old item of clothing, so this is a fab way to recycle too.
