'Yucky' old salad bowl turned into art

You wouldn't believe how many potential works of art we have just lying around in our homes, waiting for inspiration to strike. Sadly, not all of us are prone to great DIY ideas, but looking at what other have done can certainly help the creative processes, and might just cause you to linger before you next throw out an old piece of furniture or crockery.

Oh So Crafty's brilliant idea was to turn an old salad bowl into a piece of art using paper decoupage, and doesn't it look great? The process is extremely easy, and you can see how she did it here. I think I have to go away and find some old trays now...this looks like fun!
