Crafty Roundup: Autumn leaves

It's time to put pumpkins behind us and concentrate on the other beautiful sights of Autumn - and for a colourful and evocative motif you really don't need to look further than the leaves.

This weekend we saw absolutely perfect autumn weather her in the UK, with sunny spells and a blustery breeze. There were leaves flying everywhere, providing plenty of natural, free materials for crafters.

Autumn leaf cookies. These are a lovely colourful variant on traditional biscuits, and you can use whichever recipe you like best. There's step-by-step instructions here on how to make them if you're new to baking.
